“Led by Women, Safe for You”
Mardi Himal Trek is one of Nepal’s most beautiful short treks, located in the Annapurna region. It is a perfect choice for trekkers who want to experience the Himalayas in a quieter and less crowded setting. This trek combines stunning mountain views, diverse landscapes, and a chance to connect with local Gurung and Magar culture.
The journey usually begins from Kande or Phedi, passing through rhododendron forests, traditional villages, and alpine meadows before reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m). From here, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking panoramas of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal itself.
Unlike the busier Annapurna Base Camp or Everest Base Camp trails, Mardi Himal offers peace and solitude. Within just 5 to 7 days, trekkers can experience everything from lush green hills to dramatic high-altitude landscapes. It is graded as a moderate trek, making it suitable for both beginners with basic fitness and experienced adventurers.
Accommodation along the route is simple teahouses that provide warm meals and local hospitality. The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November), when the skies are clear and the weather is pleasant.
At SheGuide Treks, we believe Mardi Himal Trek is more than just walking to the mountains — it’s about experiencing the warmth of Nepali culture, tasting authentic food, and enjoying moments of reflection in the serene Himalayan environment.
