Led by Women, Safe for You,
Trek with SheGuide Treks to the famous Annapurna Base Camp Trek, at the heart of the Annapurna massif. This journey takes you into the Annapurna Sanctuary, where you’ll be surrounded by stunning Himalayan peaks and experience the natural and cultural richness of Nepal.
Unlike the French expedition of 1950, which required weeks to discover the approach to Annapurna, your journey will be guided by our experienced women-led team, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of the trek.
Along the trail, you will witness panoramic views of peaks such as Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre. The Sanctuary forms a natural amphitheater with a glacier at the center, and from here, the Modi Khola flows south through valleys inhabited by the Gurung community.
The trek also passes through charming villages, offering you first-hand cultural encounters. But the ultimate highlight remains the magical sunrises and sunsets over snow-clad mountains at 4,130m.
This trek, also called the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, is considered moderately challenging but suitable for trekkers with reasonable fitness. A minimum of 10 days (excluding Kathmandu and Pokhara) is recommended, with extra days advised for exploration or side routes like Ghorepani–Poonhill or Tatopani Hot Springs.
